Tyres are amongst the most important and yet overlooked part of vehicle maintenance. Your tyres provide contact with the road and will, therefore, affect the ride quality of the vehicle, fuel consumption, safety and braking performance.
AT Basingstoke MOT & Service Centre we provide a complete tyre service for the convenience of our customers and can provide new tyres from a range of leading manufacturers and sizes to suit your vehicle and budget.
Inspection of your vehicle tyres forms part of the standard MOT test and any tyre not meeting the minimum tread requirements (1.6mm across 75% of the tread) will cause the vehicle to fail.
BMSC has invested in state-of-the-art Hoffman tyre fitting equipment including fully computerised balancing to ensure the correct fitting and operation of your new tyres. We are happy to offer advice and guidance to customers when selecting tyres for their particular vehicle and style of driving.
We are also proud to be part of the Good Garage Scheme where are currently have the highest number of feedback in the Basingstoke area. Testament to the impression that we make on our customers when they visit out facility and the treatment the received from our staff.

*Please Note*
Your vehicle’s steering system is subjected to a great deal of stress while driving on even the smoothest of roads and with breaking and turning cornering. Uneven, rutted and potholed roads will add additional strain. Steering components over a period of time wear and will need adjusting or replacing i.e. steering racks, track rod ends, ball joints, bushes, and tie rods are all part of the steering system.
